Getting Started

How do I invite a client to complete an interview?

From your agency dashboard, open a client's profile and click 'Generate Invite Link'. Copy the link and send it however you like — email, Slack, SMS. The client clicks it and starts the interview immediately with no account required.

Does my client need to download anything?

No. The interview runs entirely in the browser using the Web Speech API. As long as the client has a microphone-enabled device and a modern browser (Chrome, Edge, or Safari), they're ready to go. A text fallback is always available.

How long does an interview take?

Most interviews run between 15 and 30 minutes depending on how many services or products the business offers. The AI moves at the client's pace.

Credits & Billing

When is a credit consumed?

A credit is deducted when you trigger content generation after a completed interview — not when the invite is created or when the client starts talking. Incomplete interviews never cost a credit.

What if I'm unhappy with the generated copy?

Credit-based billing means there's no recurring charge to cancel. If one interview's output doesn't meet your expectations, review the confidence notes — they identify exactly where the transcript lacked detail — and ask your client to fill in the gaps before generating again.

Where can I see my credit balance?

Your credit balance is displayed at the top of the Agency Billing page, accessible from your agency dashboard sidebar.

Generated Content

What pages does Copycastr generate?

For every completed interview, Copycastr produces a Home page, About page, Services overview, one dedicated page per service or product (up to ten), and a Contact page — each with an SEO title tag, meta description, H1, subheadings, body copy, and FAQ blocks.

Can my client see the generated copy?

No. Generated content is visible only to Agency and Admin users. Company accounts (your clients) see only their own interview status.

Can I edit the generated copy inside Copycastr?

Copycastr is not a content editor — it's a content generator. Download the output and take it into your preferred editor, CMS, or word processor for refinement.

Account & Security

My agency account is showing 'pending'. Why?

All new agency accounts are reviewed by a Copycastr administrator before activation. This usually takes less than one business day. You'll be able to log in and explore the interface, but interview and generation features activate after approval.

Who can access my clients' interview data?

Only your agency account and Copycastr administrators can access your clients' data. Row-level security in the database ensures no other agency can view your interviews or generated content.
